Essex and District
Bartholomew sourced quarter inch map used in Methuen Little Guide to Essex; far less colour than standard Bartholomew, with just brown for main(ish) roads and county boundary. Has typical Bartholomew detail in Estuary and North Sea.

Shows the Tollesbury Pier light railway (opened 1907), but not the Thaxted light railway (opened 1911).
