New Large Scale Atlas of London and Suburbs
For this edition we get a "73" in the top corner, very different from the other large Bacon's; presumably the "New Large Scale Atlas" has rather more pages than the others. The railways are shown as solid lines, rather than as an infilled ladder as claimed in the key - they are shown in the way described on the 1907 map's key.
More details on Bacon's maps are on the Publisher's page.
Scale correct at 10 miles = 63mm, or 4.0 miles/inch, ie 1:250,000.
There is a print code in the bottom right - 55M2.
We now have the Fairlop-Chigwell Loop shown (opened 1903), plus the Kelveden to Tollesbury (1904) and the Tollesbury to Tollesbury pier (1907, but authorised 1901); no sign of the Elsenham to Thaxted line (authorisd 1906, opened 1913).
