Topographical Dictionary of the United Kingdom
This map is dated 1807, which is very unusual; the earliest date for these maps is usually 1808 and with a slightly different imprint for Philips. (The odd looking North Sea is an artefact of display; magnify the image to see the fine lines actually used. There are, however, too many of them, giving the map a dark and crowded appearance.)
Scale correct at 10 miles = 22.5mm, or 11.3 miles/inch, ie 1:720,000.
The Dictionary was republished in 1808 (next entry) and five other times up to 1839.
