Quarter Inch Road Map, East Anglia

Has MOT Primary Routes in red and green (!), motorways in blue, trunk roads in thick red, other class 1 (A) roads in thin red and class 2 (B) roads in green. and A Roads in red, plus B roads in green.

Published by Geographers' Map Co, Vestry Road, Sevenoaks. (The "A-Z" isn't added to the name until 1972.) No code, but has M4 from Slough to Chiswick that opened in 1965, and hence estimated date.

Scale correct at 20 miles = 127mm, or 4.0 miles/inch, ie 1:255,000.

East Anglian, AZ Road Map

Counties edge-coloured. Only shows Motorways, A and some B roads, so a clean look - apart from the "measles" caused by villages and hamlets shown by black spots.
