Bartholomew's Revised Half Inch Map - Essex - Great Britain Sheet 16
The map is mounted on cloth (but not dissected), Price 4/- Net. Although map is labelled sheet 16 and the cover is called Sheet 16, the cover has across the top both "16" and "Eng 26" - the latter being the designation within the old England & Wales series - the maps haven't changed, just their numbering.
Scale correct at 10 miles = 126mm, or 2.0 miles/inch, ie 1:126,720.
No symbol for Aerodrome, and none marked. Printing code B44, ie the second half of 1944.
