Essex & east Herts: north-west to Wallington, north to Wendens Ambo, north-east to Felixstowe, south-east to Sheerness, south-west to Mitcham, west to Hertford. Identical maps (with the same code) in two different covers - sizes and pictures.

Cover 2 (241 x 119mm) is named as Essex and as Sheet 11, price 5/- (printed), and an advert on the back cover for 43 sheets for England, Wales & Scotland; the first 13 are the same as those completed above, but the one In Preparation (Suffolk) does not happen - instead we get 18 & 19 for East Anglia; all sheets have names and numbers. The front cover announces the publisher as "W & AK Johnston & GW Bacon Ltd".

Scale correct at 10 miles = 126mm, or 2.0 miles/inch, ie 1:126,720.
