Geographia Magnae Britanniae

Most of the maps in the atlas were based on Morden, but Essex is based on Warburton.

The atlas was advertised to accompany Defoe's Tour thro' the whole island of Great Britain, which was publised by the same booksellers.

This atlas had to compete against Badeslade & Toms' Chorographia Britanniae and Kitchin's Small English Atlas , and was not re-printed the many times that they were.

Displayed scale of 10 miles = 31.3mm, or 8.1 miles/inch; scale actual = 9.6 miles/inch, or 1:610,000.
